Was H2855KGannd at Docas a mag?
Four of us ate here 2 nights running, We can't say enough good things about the food or the service. The food was good, staff very friendly, especially Ines who was extremely friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend and will return in the future. What alfacinha pico dislikes about Docas:
Expensive to what is served I had bifana with fries for €7 and the wine of the casa in a very small jar for €5? The staff was ok. The restaurant was completely empty at dinner time... Do not recommend at all! View all feedback.

We came for drinks last night and the staff were so lovely that we came back for dinner today. The food was delicious, I had cod my husband had pig cheeks. We could have licked the plates.
My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant so much we have been back once and we are planning to go back again. Good value for the money. Extremely friendly, efficient service. Love it. Highly recommended.
We're not sure where the bad reviews came from for Docas Gourmet...we had a very pleasant and inexpensive lunch there. Maybe the visits to the depressing chapel of skulls nearby ruined the mood! The restaurant is located in a little street with tables inside but we elected to have lunch al fresco under an awning. It was a beautiful day so we enjoyed some house wine, bread, olives and we split an entree. We found the wine delicious, the bread fresh and the service cheerful and attentive. Several other tables were filled with other tourists speaking different languages and we heard no complaints. Our meal was served in a timely way and the bill was surprisingly reasonable. Give it a try....maybe before you go to the chapel!
Great local dishes of Evora. Try the clams with pork the Dogfish Soup. The waiter was very attentive. Good prices €35 for 2 mains 2 bottles of wine.
Grilled sardines was delishes. Recommended by stuff wine was perfect. Local olives and tapas was also good. Seafood also was perfect. IMHO this restaurant has perfect local cousin and unobtrusive atmosphere. Recommend for peoples, that want leave his evening in unobtrusive atmosphere with glass of local wine and local dish.

Came here because a local shop owner recommended. Decent food and nice staff. Lamb was okay. Seafood rice is a bit salty but good. Octopus is extremely tender.
Great food! We had the seafood rice, pork with mussels, dog soup, black pork ham and cheese. Everything was great! Service was fast and the waitresses were very polite and nice!
Excellent food. Big portions and delicious. We had grilled lamb, sea bream, and chicken. To start we had cheese, sausages, olives. Wonderful staff and great atmosphere.
Great place, highly recommended, seemed like any restaurant in the city was packed without tables. Very nice employee, got us a table and gave us a great service. Very delicious food
We were stuck during siesta hours, on a Sunday, starving. The tourism office noted that this restaurant is the only open on Sunday, all day. Its a typical Portuguese spot and the food was great. We had chicken fillet with rice, pork chops and house salads they even boiled some excellent cauliflower when asked if they had any veggies. For three people with three wines and two beers, it was 58€.
