It was a very popular place an no wonder – there were many people coming in as well for takeaways obviously... read more We had an excellent value meal at Restaurant Gruta. It was a very popular place an no wonder – there were many people coming in as well for takeaways obviously ordered by phone. We had a good salad, a very large plate of grilled chicken covered by a huge mound of french fries, a litre of excellent red wine from Estremoz and a coffee. Incredibly, the whole meal came to Euros. Service was excellent. The person who served as spoke excellent English. Note that you cannot reserve a table.
