I can't believe I never stopped at this restaurant before. This is not your typical fancy sit-down place with fancy drinks. If that's what you're looking for, keep moving. But if you want amazing food at reasonable prices, you need to hurry down to Tacos Faenas. I ordered the traditional plate with 2 carnitas enchiladas, and it was absolutely incredible. The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture before devouring it like a wild animal, so all you get is an empty plate. I will definitely be returning. 11/10 for the food, no complaints.

The woman on the phone confirmed they had the special and I proceeded to order 10 tacos. However, I was not informed of the total cost and assumed it would be discounted. When I arrived, the bill was over $40. When I mentioned that I had asked about the special on the phone, the woman claimed they did not have a taco Tuesday special and dismissed my concerns. The food was average, but the tacos were larger than usual street tacos and the chicken had good flavor. The red sauce was decent. However, the online and in-store prices did not match, the green salsa was bland and watery with no spice, the takeout came in a pizza box, and the staff member who answered the phone was dishonest.

I had the chicken enchilada and it was more than I could eat, but was so good I had trouble stopping to ask for a box. They had good service. The decor is very colorful and fun. The seats are slightly uncomfortable, but it is a small detail in light of everything else. Will definitely be my restaurant of choice when I want Mexican food.
