Pho 36 - Everett
Pho 36
Description
Nestled in a modest strip mall, this Vietnamese eatery impresses with generous portions, fresh ingredients, and standout dishes like Bahn Mi sandwiches, duck noodle soup, and crab-based Banh Canh. The flavors are vibrant, though some broths could be more robust. Service is generally friendly and efficient, though occasional miscommunications and unclear payment processes have been noted. Despite busy lunch crowds and a no-frills ambiance, prices remain affordable, making it a great value. Cleanliness concerns and occasional early closing times slightly mar the experience, but the consistent quality and hearty meals keep customers returning for more flavorful comfort food.

I was searching on Yelp for Vietnamese food and stumbled upon this place. It certainly exceeded my expectations! Located in a strip mall, it's a small shop that might not look like much from the outside, but the interior is clean and inviting. The duck noodle soup is exceptional, and my kids finished the large special pho in no time at all. We’ll definitely be coming back!
The Thai tea was incredibly delicious, and the food was fantastic. I really enjoyed my visit to this Pho restaurant!
I visit this place frequently for their Bahn Mi sandwiches. I arrived just before 7:40 PM, and the sign on the door indicated that they were open until 8 PM. However, the staff member told me she wasn't taking orders and that they were closing early. I believe that if you're open until 8 PM, you should be taking orders until 7:59 PM. When I first got there, it was still more than 20 minutes before closing time.
Avoid using Google for pre-orders. Aside from that, the food here is fantastic and very affordable. You can get a complete dinner for two for about $28. The atmosphere could use some improvement, but don’t underestimate this place. The food is delicious and tastes fresh. I really don’t get why they don’t attract more customers—I find myself craving their lemongrass steak banh mi!
I ordered the bun Bo hua and a sandwich to go. The order was accurate, and the server was polite and helpful. The soup was tasty—perhaps not the best I've ever had, but definitely worth eating. The sandwich was fantastic, loaded with meat, and the salad inside was also delicious. I would definitely return.
