The portion is generous and reasonably pric... read more I love the meatloaf dinner at On Deck—it's wrapped in bacon and served with mashed potatoes and crispy onion straws. The portion is generous and reasonably priced for a casino restaurant. The service is good; the staff are responsive but could be a bit more attentive. I didn't take any photos inside the restaurant, but I wanted to share this picture from my room. Update 7/2/22: They removed this item from the menu! What were they thinking? I was told they want to keep the menu fresh, but wow—that's a bad move by Upper Deck and Encore Casino! We ended up dining at Rare, where everything is extremely overpriced. When will they understand the bigger picture? Grrrr!

At On Deck, our server was fantastic, but let’s dive into the food. I tried the mushroom and Swiss burger with garlic aioli on a toasted brioche bun. The bun was soft and buttery on top, which was a nice detail. However, the burger could have benefited from a bit more aioli, as the flavor was only faintly noticeable in each bite. The burger featured two 4-ounce patties that were flavorful, but the seasoning was uneven, leading to an inconsistent taste. It didn’t quite reach the “wow” factor I was expecting. That said, the shoestring fries were light and crispy, and the buffalo wings packed a pleasant spicy and tangy punch. Both sides were very enjoyable. Overall, the burger might be worth a second try next time I explore On Deck’s menu.
