Mike's Roast Beef
Description
**Dining at Mike's: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Mike's for North Shore roast beef has garnered a spectrum of opinions, showcasing a decline in quality that some frequent patrons have noted. While the fried fish remains a standout, garnering high praise for its freshness and crispness, the roast beef has disappointed many, often serving poorly cooked meat accompanied by lackluster sides. Customer service has also faced criticism, leading some to rethink their loyalty. Despite intermittent praise for its late-night allure, from casual diners to loyal regulars, the overarching sentiment indicates a need for improvement if it hopes to retain its once-esteemed reputation.

I had a disappointing experience at Mike's for North Shore roast beef. The beef was nearly raw, cold, and had a lot of gristle. I struggled to chew through it and ended up pulling three pieces of gristle out of my mouth. The bun was neither grilled nor toasted, and the fries were overcooked. The only decent part of the meal was the onion rings. The seating consisted of just a counter and stools, which seems like a way to avoid providing public restrooms. I would recommend driving 40 minutes north to Nick's Famous Roast Beef in Beverly instead—it's one of the best on the entire North Shore. After trying both places, you'll definitely choose Nick's over Mike's. I know I won't be returning!
This is the best late night spot for pregancy or drunken nighty out with girls. It hits the spot every time Parking: Nice amount of spots all around Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs from street right into the door and a lower counter top on left side for those in chair.
