I was hoping to find a great southern barbecue place, but it seems I’ll need to keep looking. It just didn’t remind me of home in Alabama. Wishing you all the best for the future!

The test is to try the brisket and if its moist, full of smoke flavor then it passes. J and L BBQ passed with flying colors! The BBQ sauce even is very delicious and the Spicy is on point. Its not hot and does not have a kick. But its just enough of a smooth kick about 5 bites in.The Reds and Gravy is outstanding!!! Must try them!! Normally baked beans are a hit n miss, not here! Their baked beans are very special because that flavor is unique!!I will stop in on the Harley this summer!

I don't know if they change the rub or what but we hope it can get back to the quality we had that first time that we ate it last year. They still have great customer service and great atmosphere.
