The Cellar - Evanston
The Cellar
Description
The Cellar restaurant in Evanston offers a pleasant dining experience with good food and friendly service. While some dishes like the scallops and stuffed shrimp were enjoyed by guests, others like the overdone salmon and lackluster lobster bisque fell short. The atmosphere was cozy and the bartenders were attentive, but some guests found the restaurant to be a bit chilly, especially near the windows. Overall, The Cellar seems to be a moderately priced option with potential for improvement in consistency and attentiveness to guest comfort.

My only complaint is that it was very cold.had to keep my jacket all the time. was close to a window and the wind came directly to the glass. I close the blind to stop the breeze and the staff has opened it again. They didn't seem to care that we were very cold. Others also had their coats, not just our table.
We like the cellar for a quick dinner. We just had a bad experience with our waiter wrong order and wrong items on our bill.
