Kansaku - Evanston

Nice appearance to the restaurant. Food was as expected to slightly better than expected. Pricing was typical (though I hate the devices that encourage excessive tipping as a default). Service was a bit spotty and impersonal. So overall- typical dining experience at a decent to nice restaurant, but nothing memorable.

Crab is actually “ imitation crab” but doesn’t state so. also they didn’t care that we brought it to their attention and i didn’t eat it. still kept it on i’ll. live learn.

Wonderful meal and service. All around great evening! Will definitely return.

We have been eating at Kansaku for years now, and it’s always amazing! From the amazing quality of the food, to the great service from all staff back and front, to the reasonable prices, and a cozy atmosphere. Always 5 stars all around!

This odd our go-to sushi spot in Evanston. Reliably good every time.
