I had already tried this at Navy Pier. This is my favorite ice cream shop in Chicago. I love the flavors actually taste like what they should. It is not too sweet and up like other places and the consistency is just the right thing for me. They have really interesting aromas and they change them throughout the year. This place invites you $0.50 to taste a taste. If you want to get $6 for Gelato, this is good, but you can take us at least one teaspoon for free, it is part of the experience. On 6/7/23 I had the pleasure to try some of the most delicious Gelato I've ever seen. It was fresh, made of natural ingredients, and very favorable. The flavors were unique and plentiful. Among us, my family ordered the following flavors: Cheese Honey, Egg Custard Marsala Wine [Sambayon], Fig and Cognac, Lemon Sorbet, Mango Sorbet and Vanille. I couldn't even choose a favorite because everyone in his own right was fantastic.

Been coming here for the past year and the consistency of this place never fails to impress me. I was planning on taking a picture of my cone but got distracted and finished it all! they are very generous with the portions, as both the cones and cups of ice cream are huge ! the price is pretty typical for gelato. this time i got the seasonal flavor, coconut somoa, (basically the girl scout cookie with a coconut base and it had the right balance of each flavor (and it’s not too coconutty! some of my other favorites are cheese and honey, figs and cognac, and the chocolate. the staff is friendly and the inside is chill. my only complaint is samples cost money but that’s a very small gripe. honestly, you can’t go wrong here, this is our go to ice cream gelato in evanston.
