Five Dime - Evanston
Five Dime
Description
A vibrant multi-concept spot in Evanston, this eatery serves excellent, diverse dishes—from loaded nachos and tuna poke to carnitas torta—alongside standout cocktails. The rooftop bar and patio, plus games like ping-pong and foosball, create a playful, lively atmosphere; portions are generous and prices reasonable. Service is generally friendly and knowledgeable but can be uneven, with occasional long waits and dine-in/takeout mix-ups, and indoor seating may get warm on hot days. A worthwhile, family- and group-friendly destination for food and rooftop vibes despite service inconsistency.

The rooftop is charming and lively, with excellent service and plenty of space for private parties! The drinks and food are both good, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
Good local place. I liked that you could order from 3 different restaurants. I guess they share a kitchen? Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Loaded Nachos
