My son, who is an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker, lost his wallet on the morning he arrived in Stratton, Maine. He had promised to meet his friends at this diner. After hearing about his unfortunate situation, one of the women offered to treat him to lunch. Another lady gave him $10, and shortly after, someone left with a bag of food for him to carry along with an additional $20! We don't know the names of these kind women, but we are sending thank-you cards to the diner this week! If the staff can identify them, please thank them for their kindness and generosity!
