Food is freshly prepared; zesty appetizers meant for sharing or carefully made to order Mexican entrees anddesert. Sol de Mexico is family owned and operated since 2009. Each time we have dined here, the food was delicious and theportions were large. Our servers were attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend! My personal favorite Fajitas; Sizzlinggrilled seasoned el sol fajitas over grilled onions and peppers served with a side of charro beans, lettuce, Pico de Gallo,cheese, sour cream and flour tortillas. The meat was a bit undercooked, and to m... read more We visited a Mexican restaurant in the USA, and it turned out to be the most disappointing Mexican food we've ever had. The meat was a bit undercooked, and to make matters worse, there was a whole fly in the dish! It was quite concerning. We also informed the staff about my milk allergy, but our food still came with cheese, which made my husband feel ill right away. I’m puzzled by the restaurant's average rating of 4.4 stars. However, I do want to mention that the server was excellent.
