It's an ideal spot for those who want to kick back with a few beers after work, as well as for anyone looking to savor a nice meal. The prices for both food and drinks are very reasonable. I especially love the gyro. Additionally, the staff and servers are incredibly friendly. Just a small reminder: please don't feed the alligator near the entrance!

We ordered chicken tenders and fries with honey mustard on the side, sweet tea with no ice, and ribs with fries and extra BBQ sauce on the side, along with a soda with light ice. It shouldn't have been a complicated order. What we actually received was unsweetened tea in a glass full of ice, chicken tenders smothered in honey mustard, a soda filled with ice and something floating in it, and ribs that came without any BBQ sauce. I had to ask four times for the sauce. Overall, this experience falls into the "one and done" category for me – I will definitely not be returning.

For example, tonight I asked for cheese sticks but received fried pickles instead. The chips that accompanied my meal tasted stale and overcooked. I suggest exploring other dining options rather than relying on Gator's Dockside's menu.

You will get to taste the IPAs before you order one so that is always a plus! Our waitress was great, she was quite attentive and checked us all the time so that this is perfect. We ordered the Gyro, Shrimp Poboy and a Mac Cheese from the children's menu. Gyro was great, woman enjoyed her Nashville Shrimp PoBoy and my daughter seemed to love the Mac Cheese. The Luminescent IPA was pretty good, so check this. I've read some of the other reviews here that, if I hadn't been here, would scare me. But it has been since my previous visit, so I can say that my experience was quite great today. Hopefully it's yours if you decide to come here.

I ordered the fish and chips, which were nice and crispy. It was served hot and with a friendly smile. The staff was very pleasant. There’s a pool table and several arcade games for entertainment. Each table also has a digital menu accessible via a QR code. (See picture)

The Sweet Thai Chili wings were flavorful and crispy, and the homemade blue cheese dip was a nice touch. The ribs, while visually appealing and crispy on the outside, could have been better; they were slightly overcooked, making the meat a bit dry, and they didn’t come with much Sweet BBQ sauce. The garlic bread was tasty, and the coleslaw was good, but the mashed potatoes were a bit bland. On a high note, the lava cake dessert was absolutely amazing! Everything arrived quickly except for the ribs, which took about 25-30 minutes after the appetizers, possibly explaining why they were overcooked. Overall, I had a good experience and plan to return soon. Oh, and I forgot to mention—I have pictures of the plated ribs and wings!

We celebrated my mother’s 84th birthday at Gator’s Dockside with about 32 family members, ranging from my great-nephew aged 22 to another great-nephew aged 14,... read more We celebrated my mother’s 84th birthday at Gator’s Dockside with about 32 family members, ranging from my great-nephew aged 22 to another great-nephew aged 14, and even a three-month-old baby—five generations in all! We reserved a private room by the pool table, which was nicely set up with tables and chairs. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was excellent. Service was a bit slow due to being short-staffed that evening, but it didn’t matter because we had such a great time and appreciated the warm hospitality.
