It was quiet, with only a few customers finishing their meals, but I was greeted warmly. The special was rock cod with lemon capers, and it was a fantastic deal! The dish was served quickly, piping hot, and utterly delicious. The fish was among the best I’ve ever had—flaky, fresh, moist, and bursting with flavor. The sauce complemented the cod perfectly without overwhelming it. The steamed broccoli was served hot and packed with flavor, as if it had just been picked that afternoon. The rice pilaf was cooked to perfection, with just the right texture to absorb the sauce. The rest of the menu looked intriguing as well. I highly recommend visiting Jack's!

My starter soup had raw mushrooms, and the crab was served with lukewarm butter that hadn't melted properly. The ginger sauce was strange and didn't enhance the dish at all. After requesting warmer garlic butter, the meal improved a bit. My boyfriend ordered halibut and chips, but the potatoes were undercooked. On the positive side, the fish was quite good. The waitress was friendly and attentive, but we were disappointed to learn that the daily happy hour doesn’t run on weekends, even though we saw others being offered it later on. Overall, we felt it wasn't worth the price we paid. Perhaps it was just an off day for the restaurant.

The staff was dedicated and efficient, and the service was warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic, particularly the crab cakes, which I typically don't like but found to be exceptional here. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of quality seafood.

The staff were all busy and hardworking, with no slackers in sight. Everyone was friendly, and the food was delicious. I’m usually not a fan of crab cakes, but the ones here were fantastic. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for quality seafood.
