Since we're not local, we didn't have access to these items, which made it difficult to eat the food. We were already 20 minutes away when we realized this issue. Additionally, the food was bland, and the tofu was dry and overcooked. I also noticed that the à la carte entrees do not come with rice, which wasn't mentioned on the online menu; had I known, I would have chosen a different option.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. After many years the food wasn't as good, but with the change in ownership I had hope. Initially, my first couple of orders were a mix of some great and not so great dishes, then it was briefly all very good. This last order was terrible. They seem to have changed up the recipes for some basic items- egg rolls, Chinese chicken salad, etc, and honestly I couldn't eat some of it. I am not sure what they used to tenderize the chicken but it didn't even seem like meat anymore it was so off putting in its texture. I'm incredibly sad to say that I think it's the last time I will be ordering from a restaurant I have gone to for many, many years.

The best sit down Chinese food in Eureka, maybe all Humboldt county. Great portions and didn’t break the bank! I would highly recommend for a date night. Service was excellent our server was charming and you could tell he really loved his job!

In the middle of eating, she came and gave us the bill. Food preparation was very bad. Schezwan chicken was like sweet chicken.

I had schezwan shredded pork and I was impressed with the texture and flavor. The special comes with soup or salad, spring or fried egg roll and steamed or fried rice.We sat down and were offered drinks and a paper napkin wrapped fork, then we ordered and waited a while while four other tables were seated and orders taken. Our salad and soup arrived served in ceramic and a condiment pair of hot mustard and sweet sauce.. Later our plates were delivered which were divided into three sections with the main taking up half with rice and roll.Our bill arrived promptly in a plastic tray with fortune cookies, after we were done eating. We took the bill up to the register and paid with our Google pay phone. We both ate everything and we liked the level of heat and spice. It was not as fast as some Mexican places, but it was fine for us we were not in a hurry.The space is clean with contemporary Asian music and older decor and seating. There are three window tables and the rest are booth seating. We sat at the window and the chairs were comfortable. I want to go back and try the shredded pork with chow mein instead of steamed rice. I like chow fun, but they did not have it. I'll ask anyway.
