the Khoa Piak soup special is my favorite thing on the menu! It is the best, hearty, flavorful, and heals what ails you! Comes with fresh cilantro, lime, and side sauces to make it even more delicious. View all feedback.
What Angela Treiber doesn't like about Hunan:
Ordered takeout. No napkins or plastic silverware provided. We are not local and did not have access to these items which made food difficult to eat. We were 20 minutes away before we realized that. Food was bland and tofu was dry and overcooked. Alacart entrees do not include rice and I did not see that noted on the online menu or would not have chosen an alacart item. View all feedback.

The Khao Piak is Amazing! Chicken noodle leveled up! The Crab Cheese Puffs and the Pork Fried Rice are the best in Humboldt hands down.
Went back for lunch specials and we really enjoyed the food for ten bucks a person. I had schezwan shredded pork and I was impressed with the texture and flavor. The special comes with soup or salad, spring or fried egg roll and steamed or fried rice.We sat down and were offered drinks and a paper napkin wrapped fork, then we ordered and waited a while while four other tables were seated and orders taken. Our salad and soup arrived served in ceramic and a condiment pair of hot mustard and sweet sauce.. Later our plates were delivered which were divided into three sections with the main taking up half with rice and roll. Our bill arrived promptly in a plastic tray with fortune cookies, after we were done eating. We took the bill up to the register and paid with our Google pay phone. We both ate everything and we liked the level of heat and spice. It was not as fast as some Mexican places, but it was fine for us we were not in a hurry. The space is clean with contemporary Asian music and older decor and seating. There are three window tables and the rest are booth seating. We sat at the window and the chairs were comfortable. I want to go back and try the shredded pork with chow mein instead of steamed rice. I like chow fun, but they did not have it. I'll ask anyway.
I love this place so much.food is so goodbest food in humboldt!try it for yourself and you won’t regret it.
