Overall the food was good I did ask for condiments I did not get any type of hot sauce northside sauce but food was good the portion was ok, I'm full . The chow mein was good it could use a little bit more moisture and the orange chicken was amazing food was definitely flavorful and fresh View all feedback.
What Laura Lopez doesn't like about Chinese Gourmet Express:
I had the unfortunate experience of being yelled at by the lady up front when the registers pin pad was not reading the chip on my card and she automatically assumed I was just pulling my card out too soon. She then attempted a few times herself after pulling the pin pad over to herself a bit aggressively and low and behold, it wasn’t my fault because she couldn’t get it to work either and had to move to a different... Edit: This place has really improved. I think if I had it for the first time, it must have been a free day. The fried rice is not terribly consistent in taste, but it is usually not bad. I always get the sweet and sour chicken and mushroom chicken. Pretty good! The Kung Pao Chicken is also good, but it has no peanuts that are my favorite part.
Nothing like being able to get Chinese food on the go. Delicious egg rolls and orange chicken. Friendly staff. You forgot to give me a fork with my orange chicken this time. No sweat, it happens.
Both cash registers are on their phones. The food display window was all nebulized so I couldn't even see what I ordered. Food lukewarm too warm. Nevertheless, if I believed a few Chinese, I'll go somewhere else next time.
My experience was not bad,Yet wasn't super I had good luck I guess or maybe just know that every job has its moments of good day a bad day, so I make sure that clear on my order... Food was as expected as most mall cafes have a certain way to prep the food... The orange chicken was good, was sad that the chicken chow my noodles were tiny in width...
Food went downhill and is way different then years ago was my favorite back then makes me sad
