Fortunately, we were greeted w... read more My family and I are from Midland, and when we stepped into Texan Kitchen, we probably had that classic tourist look on our faces. Fortunately, we were greeted with warmth by a regular named Miss Linda, who was incredibly kind. She encouraged us to sit anywhere and assured us that our waitress would be quick to serve us. Once we got settled, our waitress, V, came over and was just as delightful, making sure we had everything we needed. We immediately fell in love with the café's cozy, small-town vibe. The food was outstanding as well—we tried the Hobo Breakfast plate, Fried Catfish, and Chicken Fried Steak, and every dish was delicious. We’ll definitely be back the next time we're in the HEB area!
