The Delta - Eugene
The Delta
Description
Nestled in the heart of the city, this cozy bar offers a blend of friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. Known for its casual vibe, it's a popular spot for locals to unwind with a cold beer, although the beer selection could be more expansive. Patrons appreciate the cleanliness and welcoming staff, who ensure a pleasant experience, whether enjoying a quiet drink on the veranda or indulging in a tasty burger. While some have noted issues with pricing consistency and a less-than-ideal interior smell, the bar remains a beloved haven for relaxation and video lottery luck.

Price per person: $100+ Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
And let me tell you why..... When you lost Robin you took a major loss!! Myself and a lot of my associates have been coming to your establishment for a very long time and Robin was a breathe of fresh air for your company she was welcoming, friendly , personable, and made you feel comfortable. It's too bad she is no longer with you your company and very disappointing to say the least!!
Only for Robin would I go she is amazing and always smiling and cheerful. If I show up and she isn't there I will drive on and find another place. Can't tell you how great she is!!! You really need to experience it for yourself!!
Really cozy bar with tight-knit customer base. Bartender was very polite, prompt and accomodating. Didn 't catch his name but he was from Thurston area. Prices are average for Eugene and, while its 'no-frills ', it 's a nice place to grab a drink and and find conversation with the bartender/regulars.
This used to be Sunset Island. Q: What 's Sunset Island, Josh? A: Good question! Roughly 2-3 years ago, this place opened up. We only went here a few times when it first opened. We really couldn 't get into a groove with this place. The food was mehhhh, and the drinks were forgetable. When I came here on Friday to meet up with a few other Yelpers, I realized this place still hasn 't changed much...just the name has. We sat down and ordered some drinks. My friends ordered Jello Shots, I went with the Ninkasi Total Domination. As for, What 's on the taps , they had 3 selections. Total Domination, PBR, and I THINK budweiser....could be wrong on the last one. But still.....3 taps. It drives me nuts when I go to a bar and I have to choose from a limited selection. I was pleased with the Total Domination, but this beer was NOT good. Something was funky with it. I couldn 't quite figure out what was wrong with the brew, but it reminded me of BO! You know that musky, funky, WTF!?!? smell....That 's not how Total Domination is supposed to taste... The menu was bland. Strict bar food. Almost everything was priced at $5.00 or maybe $7 max. I liked the cheap price, but the price matched the quality. I ordered Chicken Strips and Fries. When it came out, I got 3 medium-small strips and some sub par fries. The fries weren 't exactly crispy and as they cooled down, those suckers started to get really hard. Hmm.... My friend really wanted the spinach artichoke dip, but they were out. Our waitress noted that she had been working there for about 8 months and they have never had it in stock....OK? Take it off the menu maybe? Call me crazy.... Then he asked for the zucchini sticks! But those were also out!!! His follow up question was perfect by asking, well what DO you have on the menu? Everything else except those 2 items. Hmm.... I think the service was great and friendly, there 's no doubt about that!!! But the location is kinda odd, and the space is pretty small. I would stop here for a quick drink, but I wouldn 't come here on a night to get crazy.
