I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. They serve the best french toast and smoked salmon omelette I have ever had. I will definitely be returning, and I might even be convinced to try their mimosa next time! The servers are very friendly and seem to take pride in the delicious food they serve, and with good reason - it both looks and tastes amazing.
Great spot for breakfast after a run around Eugene. Highly recommend the Mexican scramble with rice beans on the side as well as the French toast breakfast sandwich. Nice outdoor and indoor seating options.
Met a friend for brunch this afternoon and had a wonderful experience. I got the chilaquiles and it was really good and the coffee wasn't half bad either. However, what tied it all in a nice little knot was the waiter, Devon. He was one of the coolest and nicest waiters I've had in Eugene. Really friendly, personable and genuine. It just made my overall experience better. I'll definitely be showing up again.
Let me start by saying: you will pay too much for mediocre. I ordered the Big Easy Benedict, promised Cajun hollandaise with eggs, cheddar, tomato, and spinach on English muffins—for $6.25, which on paper looks reasonable. But the execution? Two underwhelming poached eggs that were barely warm, spinach that tasted wilted, and hollandaise sauce so odd I suspect it was straight out of a jar. My companion had the Spanish Dancer scramble (three eggs mixed with peppers, onions, mild chile, salsa and cotija)—priced at $8.75. Instead of vibrant flavors, we got bland soggy eggs drowning in salty salsa. I’ve had tastier microwaved eggs that cost a quarter of that. Now, about the staff “service”: We waited 20 minutes for menus, during which our table got moved and the staff barely glanced our way. It took another 15 minutes to get water and coffee, which arrived lukewarm and half-filled. Loyal Google reviewers often mention friendly and prompt waiter, but apparently everyone else had a good day. When we politely asked to fix the Benedict, our server shrugged and muttered, “That’s just how it comes.” No apologies. No offer to remake. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Probably the best breakfast place in Eugene. The Northern Lights is so good. I've never had better Eggs Benedict sweet potato fries in my life. I've taken a couple people here just to see their reactions upon eating these masterpieces. Staff is wonderful too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
