Stopped in on a road trip. We are vegan so it’s always such a treat to find GOOD QUALITY VEGAN FOOD!! Laughing Planet was a winner. The young man that waited on us was super kind and greeted us with a big smile. I had the Thai Bowl with jasmine rice. My hubby had the Harvest Bowl. We also shared a bowl of vegan chili soup. All were made to perfection!! Inside and outside dining areas. We sat outside. It was pleasant. Make this a MUST STOP when passing through Eugene!! Took a bit... read more I watched the chefs handle much of the food with their hands not wearing gloves, change stations multiple times while never washing their hands once. Took a bit longer than expected to get our food for then to forgot what kind of order it was and and to switch it to for travel. It was also left in the counter for awhile before it was noticed. You'll leave feeling satisfied without breaking the bank, as meals are typically under $20 per person. The outdoor dining area is lovely, perfect for enjoying your meal while people-watching as they go grocery shopping nearby.

We finally received our lunch, but while we were eating, the cashier went to the back and changed the music to some very intense punk rock, followed by hard-cor... read more We finally received our lunch, but while we were eating, the cashier went to the back and changed the music to some very intense punk rock, followed by hard-core music with graphic themes of suicide, strong profanity, and aggressive screaming. We really enjoy the food at Laughing Planet, but this location needs someone who understands basic customer service. Thankfully, there were no families or children present, as the music was extremely inappropriate. I hope the manager makes some changes. While the food is good, the service is very poor. The cashier also did not prioritize the customers who were physically present and waiting to order; at one point, she just walked away without any acknowledgment or communication to those standing right in front of the register.
