Good burgers, sandwiches, and milk shakes. Tables need to be washed, food and service is great.
Just got spicy pork, noodle and veggie stir-fry from Doug's, after having a bite of my friend's take-out. It was $9.50, but it FILLED a large to-go container. This will be four meals for me, and EETS DELICIOUS! I'm only sad that I didn't find it sooner.
Didn 't win, place or show!. I found this place with the aid of an on-line network of Eugene/Springfield folks who answered my query for 'The best Burger in the area '. It 's ensconced in part of a Union 76 gas station convenience store. You probably wouldn 't notice it unless you were looking for it. The counter help was cheerful and friendly. The dining area was clean and well kept. The rest rooms are in a separate building. <br/ <br/ Although the two my Brother and I had today were decent Burgers, they were certainly not in the running for the top spot. He had a Cheeseburger Basket and I tried their Mushroom-Swiss Burger Basket with the works. The Patties were of the Sysco type, pre-formed and frozen. The Swiss Cheese on my Burger was processed. Much better Burgers are to be found in several other places we 've tried so far. I consider these typical diner fare but nothing extraordinary. The Fries were good. Mine were extra crispy as ordered. The Fry Sauce provided was reminiscent of Arctic Circle 's with the addition of Pickle Relish. We both liked it.<br/ <br/ The best Burger quest continues!
Yummmmm. Awesome place,.. great burgers, daughter had the chicken strips. Will be back!!!!!!
Good food Everything on the menu anytime I've ordered anything at Doug's Place has always been consistently consumed. And the People at Doug's Place are always charming and friendly. I love bringing my friends and family to Doug's Place to eat or get take out.
