Each item I tried was... read more This restaurant is a hidden gem. They have a variety of gluten-free options, both sweet and savory, and everything is free of cane sugar. Each item I tried was delicious - from the gingerbread cookie sandwich to the hazelnut tart, chai cupcake, and tea cookies. The flavors were mouth-watering and healthy. The owner is also very friendly and truly cares about the customers. I hope this place sticks around for a long time.

She delivered it car... read more I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding at Mount Pisgah Arboretum that featured a wedding cake crafted by Cookie Conscious. Delicious! She delivered it carefully to our rustic venue, and included a diagram for how to disassemble and cut the tiered cake, so that there would be 100 portions (which is what the couple had paid for). I could tell that Cookie Conscious Bakery really cared about the quality, craftmanship, and how their role played into the overall wedding day. She wanted everything to be as smooth as possible, and as a wedding planner I can tell you: she was a joy to work with. As a gluten-free human myself, I rarely get to partake in the treats at weddings and events where I work. But this beautiful cake was gf and vegan too, so absolutely everyone could enjoy it. Wedding vendors will tell you: there is ALWAYS cake left over at the end of the night. But for this one... the cake was going fast, and thankfully there was just enough left for the newlyweds to take home. I highly recommend Cookie Conscious for special treats and cakes!
