Quick hit with the family on our way out of Eugene. Good place for a vegetarian breakfast and it also has menu items for the carnivore. Great morning drinks. Self serve kind of place.
The food offered lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. The kitchen is small so expect a small wait to get your food but it worth the wait. I couldn't get enough of the gluten free BLTA super tasty.
Nice little place nestled in by the other shops. I was very pleased to see gluten-free items on the menu including the buckwheat crepes! The indoor seating was a little cozy but when it is nice out the patio area looked like it would be awesome. Lots of beverage options beside the food. Cool to see the savory crepes as well as the sweet crepes.
Great breakfast place if you're in the area. The food presentation was great! Quick service, clean facilities.
I love this place! The lady who helped me, Victoria, was so friendly and helpful during my culinary experience. Come back here.
Nestled amid Eugene’s charming shops, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. While it boasts a range of vegetarian and gluten-free options, some dishes fall short of expectations. Diners have encountered issues like cold soup and underwhelming grilled cheese, as well as service delays even during quieter hours. However, the inviting outdoor seating and friendly staff redeem the ambiance. With a unique twist on breakfast favorites and enticing crepe selections, there's potential for a delightful meal, especially for those willing to be patient. Overall, it’s a spot worth considering, but be prepared for some ups and downs.

I shared my disappointment with the restaurant and mentioned that I would have appreciated a heads-up about the unavailable dish, as it would have allowed me to choose something else. When I inquired about possible substitutes, the waitress informed me there weren’t any. It was frustrating to pay full price without having any options for replacement. An extra side or perhaps an egg on top would have made a decent alternative, but I was so taken aback by the "no" that I didn’t think to ask. In the end, I had to go next door to the market to buy an avocado because I had been looking forward to it, especially after a tough morning. Fortunately, they kindly let me buy one and even cut it for me, but it was disheartening that I had to go through that extra effort. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, but I didn't want to give up after just one disappointing visit. So, I decided to go back today, only to discover that prices have increased, which I understand for a small local business. However, when I received my crepe, it was noticeably smaller and had less filling than before. I’m not sure if this was just due to the day's preparation or if management had instructed them to cut down on portions to save costs. Overall, it's disappointing to see prices rise while both quality and quantity seem to have declined. After these two consecutive experiences, I'm hesitant to return, worried about facing another disappointment. Maybe in the future, I’ll give it another try, as I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant in the past. I hope others who visit have a better experience, like the ones I used to have. On a positive note, their over-easy eggs are consistently excellent, and I’ve never been let down by those.
I absolutely love this place! They serve the best lavender lattes and crepes in town. The service may not be the quickest, but they take their time to ensure everything is done right.
I frequently visit this place to work on my laptop. The ciders are enjoyable, the coffee is satisfactory, and the crepes are absolutely delicious. However, there are a few downsides: there aren’t many outlets available, and there’s only one large table, which is usually monopolized by one person (that table also has one of the two outlets).

16 tons Cafe is a cozy place where people bring their laptops during the day and sit around with friends, talking and eating crepes of all sorts. The house coffee is strong and the beer and wine flows easily. The cafe name refers to a song about a hardworking coal miner who's in debt to the company store. The first time I heard the song Tennessee Williams was singing it and my mom who worked in a factory for much too long was sitting next to me. See you there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The grilled cheese sandwich was lacking in cheese, despite the claim that it contained two types; mine only had one. The soup tasted like standard Campbell's tomato soup and was served cold. My boyfriend ordered a pulled pork dish, but they were out of pork and offered chicken as a substitute instead. To top it off, they drizzled on some cold, raw BBQ sauce that wasn't sufficient. Overall, for $26, I found the quality of the food to be unsatisfactory, and I wouldn’t want to spend my money there again.
I waited for half an hour, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded, only to discover that the original breakfast sandwich included just one egg and one slice of cheese. The service was disappointing, and the coffee was too acidic for my taste. I’m giving it 2 stars only for the availability of parking and the outdoor seating arrangements.
