Subway
Description
In a recent visit to a local Subway franchise, patrons experienced a mix of service and quality that left them divided. While some enjoyed prompt, friendly service and precisely crafted subs, others faced issues such as unacceptance of coupons, smaller portion sizes, and poorly constructed sandwiches. Complaints arose regarding locked doors despite scheduled hours, as well as difficulties with mobile orders, leading to frustration among customers. A notable incident highlighted unwarranted comments directed at a young employee, prompting an acknowledgment of his hard work. Overall, while a few diners left satisfied, inconsistencies in service and product quality marred the experience for many.

I’ve ordered subs twice through the Subway app for my family of five, and both times the app said my order was complete, but when I arrived, my order wasn’t ready at all. The employee making the subs wasn’t even sure which veggies were supposed to go on each sandwich, despite my clear instructions on the order specifying the bread, meat, and veggies. Until the staff gets better organized, I won’t be ordering from this Subway anymore.
I visited Subway expecting to grab some food before closing at 9pm, but at 8:30pm the doors were already locked. Inside, some kids were dancing and mocking me as I tried to get in. Definitely avoid spending your money at this Subway location. Their menu may be good, but the service and experience here are disappointing.
The food portions at this Subway were noticeably smaller compared to other locations. The employee weighed each scoop of meat, resulting in about 25% less than what you typically receive elsewhere. Additionally, the bread was surprisingly small, causing the meat and vegetables to spill out. The staff member had difficulty closing the sandwich properly after cutting it. I didn’t ask for extra meat, but the amount I received was definitely below my expectations. After adding some sauces, the sandwich turned into a complete mess when I opened it—sauce and toppings were everywhere. The employee handed me the bag and suggested I might need some napkins, which I definitely did. I know that Subway can be inconsistent, but this was by far my worst experience.
The franchise owner does not accept Subway coupons that are mailed to customers. I ordered four subs, and if they had accepted the company-issued coupons, my total would have been $24. Instead, I was charged $42 because they refused to honor the coupons. They also wouldn’t even attempt to scan them, probably because they know they would be valid.
