We were really pleased to have indoor seating since we were traveling from out of town. Food was good, though my burger had onions even though it was ordered without and the receipt showed that. My husband's eggnog shake was good, but my vanilla shake was only mediocre. What johnny doesn't like about Cook Out:
For the love of god STOP putting bbq sauce on the bbq sandwich. Last three times I’ve gone and explicitly said not to put it on and I still get bbq sauce. It’s labeled correctly on y’alls menus but somehow always gets screwed up in the kitchen; both here and the other one in Oakwood.It’s an NC chain ffs View all feedback.
Went here literally once. They apparently put molten onion rings fresh out of the fryer into Styrofoam which is an amateur mistake (see pics). I didn't notice until I was half way done, so I ate a bunch of melted styrofoam then had to throw half of my food away. Really unpleasant experience all around, probably not very healthy.As a side note, i will literally buy you guys a new drive thru speaker if you can't afford to replace that one you guys bought on Temu. It's horrible and no one can hear a single word you're saying. And no, cranking up to 5,000 decibels doesnt help, now I ate styrofoam and am deaf in my left ear thanks guys. ?

Excellent service and great food. The milkshakes alone make this a stop worth taking!
Got food poisoning due to burger being undrrcooked. Burgers need to be well done.
