The Flats Eatery + Drink - Estevan

After 14 years we no longer find it attractive to winter there. What started out as a five-star resort is now a three star resort at best. All kinds of troubles with water heating in the laundries, pool and hot tub. They have stopped supplying cable TV and expect the patrons to pay for it and have not taken out the money alloyed for tv. . There is virtually never anybody at the security gate anymore and most of the electrical and television cables are rotted away in the ground and they seem reluctant to repair them. There seems to be no preventative maintenance done at all in the park and they cannot seem to keep a manager. They now allow pit bulls and Rottweilers in the park which it never did before. And they also allow these kind of dogs to run off leash in the dog park. As well the park staff does not follow the rules and does not make most of the patrons follow the rules. It was a nice resort but now there are much nicer ones such as that Yuma Palms, Country Roads or Fortuna Del Oro trailer parks, which are all full five-star resorts.

I read the previous reviews so I thought I would check it out.I found it to be very good.Service was good. I had the xtreme bacon burger.The burger was excellent although a bit messy to eat (but that is a good thing).The only dissapointing thing was the French fries. I am not a big fan of shoestring fries and I think it would have been better with regular fries.I will definitely be back here next time I am in Estevan.

Of all my trips to Estevan, I have never eaten here, and now I will definitely go again. Was pleasantly surprised when we stopped in for lunch. Four ladies, three different items selected and all were superb. It's a much larger place than I expected and there was a good crowd in the main restaurant. There is also a lounge. The food was good and service was quick. We were at the tail end of the lunch hour and the servers must have had a busy shift, so although service was quick and very efficient, a smile can go a long way to make the diner's experience even better.See you on my next trip.

I have been here quite a few times and each time I always leave happy. The atmosphere is great, food is great and great service. One of few places in town that deserve the highest rating.

We eat here often, and food and service is always great. It's real food! The food is made from scratch, not just frozen and warmed up like the big chain restaurants. Highly recommend the burgers, Ribs, fries and chicken cranberry salad.
