Every Saturday they have a steak lobster special. At just over $30 it might be more than you’d usually pay for a meal, but the steak is cooked to perfection and LOBSTER! On a side note, if you like pizza and you like spicy,...order The Dillon. Named after the male half of this dynamic ownership duo, it’ll have you looking for some milk after a few slices. The crust? What Sabine Wimmer doesn't like about The Black Grasshopper:
Average food and slow food prep. Servers do the best they can but the kitchen is slow. It is decor is that of a sports bar. Prices are reasonable if you can wait 45 min for a burger and fries. View all feedback.
The steak night on Saturdays is both tasty and budget-friendly!
I just had a delicious late lunch at this restaurant. The server was also very attractive.
Chicken wings are great, better than anything in Edmonton. Great setup. Great service and well managed. Well done.
The Black Grasshopper offered a great beer selection and has an excellent wing night. The wings were large and well fried with a wide variety of sauce and dry rub options. My order of wings was quite light on the sauce and instead of being tossed in sauce, it was drizzled over the top. I also ordered the cheesesteak which was unfortunately filled with dry beef. The atmosphere inside is a good sport bar vibe with fast and friendly service.
Friendly staff, reasonable staff, pretty good food, nice atmosphere, overall very nice place. Gets a little loud when lacked. (Metal ceiling reflects back a ton of sound)
