I hate to say I don't like this Panera location. I don't care about the personal. I know that people make mistakes, but the same order to screw twice, that is ineffective. the place is dirty and it is unpleasant to eat in the dirty environment. View all feedback.
I regret to say that I'm not fond of this Panera location. The staff seems indifferent, which is disappointing. While I understand that mistakes happen, it's hard to believe that they could get the same order wrong twice. Additionally, the restaurant is not clean, making it an uncomfortable place to dine.
I went back inside to inform the guy working that it wasn't in the bag. They insisted it was in a separate bag with my order, so I went to my car to double-check—still no grilled cheese. I returned inside and told them it was definitely left out. The guy looked at me as if I was making it up and had an attitude about it. I simply requested the grilled cheese I had ordered, but both he and the girl at the counter insisted they had included it in the bag. I even asked if they wanted me to bring the bag back in for them to check, to which he said yes with a dismissive expression. I can't believe it, but I went outside, retrieved the bag, and showed them there was no grilled cheese inside. After looking at it for the fourth time, I also noticed that they had forgotten my side as well. That meant they missed two out of the three items I ordered! They handed me the food without so much as an apology, and throughout the whole interaction, they acted like I was lying about the missing items—as if I was trying to steal food over a grilled cheese and chips. This was the worst customer service I've ever encountered at this location, and not a single apology was offered. They just handed me my food with a rude demeanor, seemingly pleased that I was leaving. I won’t be returning to this location again. In my opinion, these individuals should not be working in customer service.
The quality of the food was lackluster, and the staff was not very impressive. The woman who took our order was decent, but the man at the food counter was quite rude. My mother went to ask for an extra piece of bread, but she was ignored for several minutes before giving up. A little later, I approached the counter myself and asked for bread without receiving any acknowledgment. I mentioned that it was no rush and that it could be done whenever he had a chance. He mumbled something I couldn't quite make out and then carelessly tossed a piece of bread onto the counter, exposing it to his dirty workspace and completely disregarding my presence. He wouldn’t even look at me. While it may be considered bad etiquette to request more bread, it would have been simple enough for him to just explain that they no longer provide it. Instead, his rudeness and lack of hygiene left a negative impression, and as a result, we probably won’t be returning, largely due to his behavior.
7/16/2022 I am a long time Panera Bread customer and do like their food. But, today I had a disgraceful experience in their Coconut Point, Estero FL store. I placed my order and sat at a table. When my buzzer went off signaling that my food was readyI proceeded to the counter. When I arrived at the counter my food was the only food on the entire counter and there was aperson standing in front of it blocking my access to the food. I tried to reach for it but could not get past the person toreach it. She turned around and looked at me then turned her back to me again without moving and responding in any way. I saidin a normal voice that I would like to get my food. She (Meghan turned out to be the manager) gave me a dirty look andpushed my food across the counter knocking the sandwich off the plate. I then asked her if I could get some condiments whichshe was blocking also. She nearly threw them across the counter. I told her I did not understand her rude behavior and sheyelled that is it, I am calling security. Security came to my table and said I have to leave. I told him what happened and hesaid he understood and suggested that I let Panera corporate know what happened. I asked for a refund for my meal and Meghan said that is not going to happen. I asked for take out boxes to take my meal and she gave me a Dirty box. Igathered my food and left. She yelled at me on the way out the door that her name was Meghan and to make sure that I spelled itright. As a human being, let alone an employee I would apologize to anyone that I was unintentionally standing in their way. Ican not understand how anyone can keep a job with such behavior. I see by the comments that it appears to be a commonoccurrence at this location. Good food. Decent prices. Unbelievably terrible customer service ! ! !
Serious customer service from the guy and girl taking out! I ordered several items for picking up for my employees and I on 9/2 in the early afternoon. I came and picked up my food, came to my car, opened the bag to make sure everything was in there, and I miss a product of mine they pick 2 . I told the guy that my grilled cheese was not in the bag. they insisted that it was in a separate pocket in the order. So I went back to my car to check. not yet in the bag. I went back, told them it was definitely missed. the guy looked at me as if I was lying and gave me a job. I said I just wanted the grilled one I ordered, and he and the girl through the window always said they put him in the bag. So I asked if they wanted me to bring the bag back to the inner, so they could see him looking at me and said yes. I said, do you mean that seriously? I have the bag. I didn't show them a grilled one, and after I looked at him for the 4th time, I saw that they also forgot my side. second by the things they have forgotten. they gave me my food and didn't even apologize. they insisted that I was lying all the time over a grilled cheese and chips, as if I wanted to eat. that was the worst customer service I've ever found here, and no one excuse came in me, they just gave me food and looked at me as if they were happy that I left. I will not return to this place. these people should not be in customer service, no matter what.
