The... read more Got to Zubiri while walking the Camino on a Sunday. All the other restaurants were closed but we found this one and had a great value ‘Peregrino’ menu meal. The food was good, there was plenty of it, and the service was good too. It’s not haute cuisine but it was great value, and all the more so on a Sunday!

It was a huge disappointment, 3 day old reheated paella, spaghetti the type made for English children in the 1970’s, tuna fish with such a strong fishy smell... it could not be eaten... And we were also ripped off on the price not by much, but.. . This is one place to avoid! Other el Camino walkers tried bar valentin and the restaurant of Hosteria zubiri they enjoyed their meals much more than us! We spent all morning on the assessment!

Accommodation was very basic and restaurant was a complete truck stop. However they did make the most generous fish bowl G&Ts that I have ever come across. This stop started out G&T adventure across Spain . Meals were simple but enjoyable
