Good beer and good wine choice are also a good reason to come. Enjoy.

The staff and the owners, chef Pedro (who also speaks fluently English and French)and his wife Maribel are all extremely pleasant and accommodating. I choose to seat at the bar on both occasions and was accommodated to watch the first World Cup matches on TV. My prosciutto appetizer was very copious and thinly sliced and my smoked salmon salad drizzled with honey very fresh. On my second visit, I had the beef tenderloin (a house specialty) served on a bun with sausages in a tangy sauce topped with melted cheese and an egg sunny side up.It was simply excellent! Thank you Pedro and Maribel for making my visit to Estarreja a little more special.

I am the kind of person to try new restaurants and new dishes everytime I go out for dinner. But Xixas is without a doubt the one restaurant I don't mind repeating again and again. And everytime I go there for dinner I can't help ordering their Pork tenderloina with apple chutney and sweet potatoes chips. It's the best! Love it! Strongly recommend it!
