Make sure not to skip dessert at Ripple! Initially, we weren't planning to order dessert, but when we learned that the owner personally prepares them every day, we changed our minds. We ended up trying all four options, and each one was a hit at our table.
Finally, we felt incredibly welcomed in the restaurant. The staff and other customers made it feel like home, surrounded by friends and family. As a member of the... View all feedback.
What Renato Castelo doesn't like about Ripple On The Water:
Unfortunately, our experience here was not as good. My friends and I ordered what looked like delicious cocktails on the menu, and even though we tried to make it work, we could not drink them. It seems like they changed bar tenders recently. The owner/manager agreed to replace the drinks, and opted for beer and wine. The food was ok, although the salmon was overcooked. View all feedback.
Great new place on the water. There are a variety of places to sit, indoors, on the deck or at the bar. We elected to sit at the bar given the time of year. Jesse poured some great cocktails and the food is way above average. I had the shrimp and grits that rivaled anything I had in Savannah. Wife had the Tuna Nachos with great, large chunks of tuna. Wine list is varied enough to meet a variety of tastes. We had an excellent Gruner Veltliner with dinner. This is a family run place with homemade desserts, including a great homemade blueberry cobbler. We shall return.
Best roasted mussels. Both a light dough and a crisp taste. Excellent service and a family affair. Daughter bigger, Mrs. Barkeeper, Mann Koch. Algreat overlooking the water and fair prices. A wonderful experience
I'm not an expert on Clam Chowder, but I know the Chowder I've tried so far. Thicker's better in my book. My wife and I choose Ripple's Chowder our favorites. The waitress Linda was very helpful and very nice. The owners are good people who come out and say hello and talk. And it's on the water.
The food here is great! I brought my best friend and our teenage children and all loved their meals! I had salmon black? All right! My friend had and I quote, The best Haddock I've ever had?! Both teenagers had the Ripple Burger and ate every bite! You also have the best pommes! I recommend and will be back! The staff was also very friendly and attentive!
The food was excellent! Location is quite nice with a view on the river and fishermen who are passing by. The only thing I personally didn?t enjoy quite was the smell in the restaurant. They had some kind of special aroma which smelled to me like a hospital or something. But It might be just a personal reflection. Visit when you are in the area. The corn bread is sooo good!
