What User doesn't like about Cooper's Hawk Vineyards And The Vines:
In spite of their website stating that they were open for lunch on a Thursday from 11.30 til 3, and also my phone call to the winery this morning when their voice message told me they would be open, when we drove out there (from Leamington they were closed. I dropped by for lunch during our winery visit and was pleasantly surprised! The quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. I ordered the fish and chips...
I had a wonderful dinner. We began with an appetizer of Sweet Potato Spinach Dip, which was delicious. For the main course, we shared the chicken and steak dinners. Both meats were cooked to perfection.
Michelle is a lovely semi-retired lady who has a deep understanding of wine and truly enjoys her work. While the wine is excellent, the highlight of the experience is the engaging conversation and her extensive wine knowledge. For the best experience, I recommend arriving before 4 PM. I visited on a weekday and had to wait an hour, so making a reservation is advisable.
The staff here is fantastic! They are friendly and knowledgeable. The sparkling cider is absolutely delicious!
