Was Manuela Jacob at Leo's Casa a mag?
to leo’s casa you can always go, eating tastes super the service is fast and attentive and the ambiente is also beautiful. with a high capacity, the loudness is smaller. I love the pizza oven and the half-open kitchen. View all feedback.

What Hans-Peter Schüler dislikes about Leo's Casa:
my mother has eaten with her famous in leos casa and both have ordered kaprese so tomato with mozarella and fresh landbrot. the caprese was served without dressing like olive oil, balsamico vinegar and not even the tomatoes were seasoned with pepper and salt. asking the service, said that it was so correct, that is nature and it would always be arranged. also a slightly crimped butter for the dry land was negated wit... The Europahaus in Essen houses two establishments : the Stratmann's theatre, a well respected cabaret and theatre, and this restaurant. The menu changes every season and their dishes are all worth your while, both in quality and quantity. Basically Italian style, but with an international...twist. A set standard for the cast and audience of Stratmann's theatre

I' ve been here with my husband for a dinner and in the next days in many other hours. Very good location in the middle of the principal Essen's square. The entire menù is written in Italian with many errors like porco instead of maiale....Very few dishes are really italian but there is some very similar. I ate a good caprese with a fresh mozzarella fiordilatte and good tomato. They make also a good pizza, more similar to the Rome's type but good taste. At first I thought there was some ketchup in the tomato' s sauce but trying their fresh tomatoes in the caprese I understood that is a particular taste of it. Not the best pizza in the world but one of the best in Essen. Good Italian wine. Obviously no one talks Italian, just a few talks English but they are kind and courtesy. Avoid to go when is full due to an extremely slow service

The restaurant was fairly business when I and colleagues visited this restaurant. After waiting minutes to be served drinks, we asked for the English menu, which we never received. After another minutes we got our drinks and ordered our food using google...translate. Another mins later we got our starters. Then there was a minute wait between our plates being collected and our mains arriving. Our waitress was apologetic and did the best she could but it seemed that they were understaffed in the kitchen and out front Apart from the slow service, the food was good. The tomatoes on the bruschetta was very fresh and tasty. Pizzas were also very tasty. This would have been a star review if it was not for the length of time we had to wait

I'm very satisfied. Such quick service. The pizza was very tasty

The food was great (the Pizza Vegetaria
