The experience includ... read more We had dinner at the whitesands restaurant on NY day, without a booking. It was pretty much the only place opened that night in Esperance. The experience including food and service was very good. I can't see anything bad to say, given that we just wanted a proper hot meal that night, to enjoy with some drinks.The waitress was on her own looking after the bar (where you can order pub style meals) and the restaurant on her own, still she was very helpful and did not make us wait too long for anything.I had the salmon which was really well cooked. My partner had the fish and chips and found it really nice. A buffet salad and bread is also included in all meals. We both had a drink (cider + beer), and a bottle of wine. We were the last customers and they did not rush us at all to finish our dinner.We paid $85: Very good value for money. I would recommend this place for dinner in Esperance.

I have traveled all over Western Australia and have stayed in many hotel and motel accommodations, and I would rate this restaurant as one of the top 10 establishments. The staff was excellent, the meals were top-notch for a working crew, and the sleeping quarters were comfortable. I would gladly return in the future.

It was our anniversary and as we were leaving, I commented that the experience deserved five stars. Overall, a great dining experience.
