My memory of their salty, overcooked chicken came flooding back. It was overpriced, and I regretted my decision.

It’s hard to believe how hard I worked while a full-time employee barked orders at me; he earned $2.65 an hour, which gave him quite a bit of authority. Today's meal was the special 10-piece chicken bucket for $26.54, including taxes. The service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. This experience brought back so many fond memories from 40 years ago.

While I understand it's fast food and I don't expect gourmet standards, this visit was surprisingly below their usual level of quality.
