We were greeted warmly on arrival, and given a lovely selection of nibbles with our aperitif. The choice on the fixed priced menus is reassuringly limited, and vary from courses, but each course is small enough. The quality and presentation of the food is excellent, the service charming, and the advice on the wines, and their pricing spot on. Booking is essential, by eight pm, the restaurant was full. At euros for two including champagne cocktails and wine, we thought the value, and whole experience excellent.

I have gedimt countless places at le méjane, since and never once have I experienced something different than friendly, professional service, amazing tasty and inventive food and incredible worth. what is remarkable to me is that the owners, a charming man (cook) and woman (hoss) team, have been with this, without ever showing, even a glamour of bored or tiredness. they clearly have a passion for their craft, and it shows. if they are looking for an excellent culinary experience in the aveyron, they are not looking further than le méjane. for under per person, they will enjoy a better experience than they enjoy in most one- or two-star restaurants at double price.
