What User doesn't like about Hartwood:
3 years ago this place was kind of a hidden gem. Now it caters to the starched shirts that have been driven in from nice hotels or condos. Reservations were a JOKE, both by e-mails and in-person. I've never had a more wishy-washy plan of reservation system, that seems to change day-by-day. Food is good, but considering the 18 other places along the road , it's just 'good'. It's way expensive and the ding-dong hostess/reservation system needs a kick in the pantalones. And seeing all the pleated-pants and high heels (totally unable to walk down Tulum Road) show that this place is breaking the soul of Tulum as a groovy oasis from Tourons. What User likes about Hartwood:
Seemingly the place to go in Tulum to be seen and to dine...Book a table, but be prepared to still have a bit of a wait to be seated with the beautiful people (we waited 45 minutes for our 8pm table)!The cocktails we started with we not great to be honest.
