Brook House Inn - Eskdale

They have some (3) vegan options, but also they are vegan friendly and a special vegan combination made for my allergic 3 years old. for a gas house that is on the beaten away, we appreciate that! we have 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan in our family, so if everyone can be happy, it is less stress for us.

Traditional English pub with good choice of ales. Much to our surprise there was a separate vegan menu. Friendly staff and dog friendly too.

The Brook House Inn has a separate vegan menu (inc Desserts). Even served us after they stopped eating food. We were very grateful!

In addition to what you expect for a Lake District Pub menu, there is a whole separate (short) menu of vegan nets. Less options for appetizers and desserts, unless you are a vegetarian. Helpful and competent staff who like to veganize the garlic bread. What the misery suggested in the previous review that the vegan food was microwave meals: If you can tell me which supermarket sells a mushroom Ragu with an almond crumb, next to potatoes and veg, I would be very grateful because it ace.

Old-fashioned English pub serving a predominantly meat-based menu. Vegan option is probably a microwave oven.
