It was very good, but at €17.50, it was... read more A set menu was advertised at €18, but we were told it was reserved for workers, so we opted for a croque madame instead. It was very good, but at €17.50, it was a bit pricey for my taste. And the highlight of the evening was the draft beer at €5.50. We were in Escource, not Saint-Jean-de-Luz! It 's a shame because we received a very warm welcome.

The decor, the welcome, the food—what more could you ask for to have a pleasant time? The owners are fantastic! The service was excellent, and everything in the kitchen is homemade, even the nougat ice cream (a nod to Gilles, the chef). Bravo to you both! We'll definitely be back.
