From my previous reviews, it is no secret that I am a fan of this institution. This has led me to experience lunch in Tango. Lunch is now available on Wednesday to Friday, but I hope this is an experiment that lasts. There is no sacrifce in the quality or inventiveness of these lunches. The portion size of the duck is completely sufficient to satisfy your hunger as a single meal. But if you decide to add a starter or... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tango Lounge:
My family and I were in Tango three times. twice for dinner and once for the Mother's Day Brunch. We love it! The food is creative, the portions are good, but small enough to allow more than one course, and the presentation is original and funny. We loved Mother's Day brunch and hope they will also make a Father's Day brunch. The regular prices are fair for the quality of food and presentation, and there are options... View all feedback.
It's no secret from my previous reviews that I'm quite the fan of this restaurant. Recently, I had the opportunity to try their lunch at Tango, which is now offered from Wednesday to Friday. I sincerely hope this becomes a permanent offering. The quality and creativity of the lunch menu have not diminished at all. The portion of duck is more than enough to satisfy your appetite for a single meal. However, if you choose to add an appetizer or dessert, you'll leave feeling just as fulfilled as if you had enjoyed a three-course dinner. The service was top-notch, and we managed to finish our meal in under an hour. With most entrees priced between $10 and $15, it's a wonderfully affordable way to experience an extravagant culinary delight.
Tango Restaurant welcomes business travelers and remains the top culinary destination in North County. The elegantly maintained dining room is lovely, and the lounge now offers a selection of cocktails.
I hope Tango can draw in enough regular customers to thrive in Escondido. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Every bite was a delightful experience, and we enjoyed everything we tried. I can't fathom what could have caused a negative review for Tango. It's on par with the best restaurants in its price range throughout San Diego County.

The regular prices are fair for the quality of food and presentation, and there are options to try the restaurant at promotion prices. I'm a pesco vegetarian and they have dishes I can eat without asking for changes. Try this restaurant!
Had a wonderful dinner with friends last night at Tango. The amuse bouche was a wonderful little surprise and very tasty. My husband and I tried the souffle tast to start and I was impressed, all three were very flavorful and the plating was beautiful. My friends had the ahi tasting and it was equally pretty. For dinner I had the venison. Pefectly cooked and seasoned, the venison meatloaf is something not to be missed. My husband had the halibut and it as very mild and taty, cooked perfectly and again plated beautifully. Escondido is coming up in the world of fine cuisine.
