Most importantly, the food was good (although not showing, keeping great) and the servers were beautiful and attentive. But the plates and glassware were old turbid plastic. Changing the whole restaurant would be expensive, but new cups and plates would be a cost-effective upgrade that would make the overall experience significantly better.
This is a hidden jewel in Escondido. The food is fresh and delicious and extremely affordable. Sarah is the best and the whole family is very sweet. I love this place when I'm in town.
The food was okay. I had the 2 pieces chicken combs with potatoes (for engraving, sown on the side and they extra engraving on it) and steamed vegetables (millet carrots, a little broccoli and 2 mushrooms). I also ordered some fried zucchini, the homemade, but on the soggy side. The guy who took my order was very nice. I'm here at the fence.
We love Chicken Plus and we eat here regularly. Of course I recommend the chicken or any menu item including chicken. Dinners, salads and sandwiches are all great! You also have great mozzarella sticks that are affordable! If you are on the side of the city, and looking for a good quality, just bite, stop and give her fresh rotisserie chicken an attempt!
I liked the Greek style ambiance and the music. Although the waitresses were kind and polite, they kind of rushed us to get our order and when we asked about the plates, they didn?t know much about them... I ordered the Greek combo, salad and rice were fine, grape leaves were tasty, pita bread was warm and soft, I liked it. My boyfriend got the gyros sandwich, which was plain, basic, meat was tender but could have been more tasteful... At least I got to try the food of this place, but I wouldn?t come back. Sorry
