The food was significantly better than nearly every other hibachi place I've tried in the past year. It was fresh, high-quality, well-cooked, and perfectly seasoned—it genuinely made me happy. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were excellent. Overall, it was a delightful surprise to discover such a fantastic little restaurant. Having just moved to the area, I found that good quality dining options that aren’t too pricey have been somewhat limited for me. I'm very pleased to have found this place.

Their hibachi scallops and shrimp are my favorites. I hope this review helps anyone who is wondering whether or not to give it a try!

The portion of shrimp was reasonable, but I was hesitant to eat the rice, so I ended up finishing all the vegetables on the plate. I appreciate that they include a good amount of veggies, along with some mushrooms. The overall flavor was okay, and the prices were fair. However, Kami Japan didn't leave a lasting impression on me. If I were just passing through, I would prefer to wait until I reach Fayetteville for better Japanese food.

My favorite dish is the Teriyaki steak plate. The carrots are so good here. And the pricing is reasonable. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
