Carpaccio - Erlangen

I and my family have found this place near our hotel while we walk around trying to find a place to eat. we liked the job. their pizzas and pastas are good and very good inexpensive. they accept cards (yes). all employees are nice. and some can speak English, but with pizzas and pastas, I am okay with some surprises. we ate there again a few times as we liked it so much. they were also open on Sunday for lunch (against

Ristorante Carpaccio is my favourite restaurant in Erlangen. I've been travelling to this part of Bavaria for over years and the this restaurant is great. It is at its best in the warmer months when you can sit in the courtyard drinking Bavarian beer...and eating great Italian food. The pizza's and pasta are both good. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Erlangen. A word of warning, this place is really popular and sometimes you need to book in advance.

Cambio di conduzione al ristorante. D'estate vi anche la possibilità di mangiare all'aperto. La gentile è simpatica Piera vi accontenterà nei vostri gusti. Primi e secondi ottimi. Buona la pizza. Rivisitati anche i dolci molto delicati. Servizio veloce e prezzo corretto. Da provare.

Nach annähernd zwanzig Jahren am Freitag mal wieder im Carpaccio gewesen .Und falls mich jemand fragen würde , warum so lange nicht , könnte ich nur darauf antworten daß ich es nicht weiß .Am Essen lag es jedenfalls nicht .Auch wenn zwischenzeitlich ein Pächterwechsel stattfand und man laut Aussage der freundlichen Bedienung einen neuen Pizzabäcker an Bord hat , schmeckt die Pizza ( Quattro Stagioni , Calzone Mariniello ) vorzüglich .Zuvor wurde Bruschetta als Gruß aus der Küche gereicht - ebenfalls sehr wohlschmeckend .Der Espresso danach war so , wie man es beim Italiener erwartet .Kurzum : war waren höchst zufrieden und werden wiederkommen .

They have excellent outdoor sitting (they also have good indoor tables). Good service and portions are reasonable. If you do not like to be surrounded by people smoking, then you have to give a second thought, but the food is really good.
