we came out of town and wanted to try this. there was a guy he didn't even greet who made me go out, but my children love sushi. I guess it's a 4 because our family loves the sushi the young ladies made but the keerl energy will make them feel a way away. Recommended for the guy they should really pick better customer service, it will go a long way away here especially to tap. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sakura Sushi Express:
I base my sushi experience on the salmon. Hence the one star review. Seen another saying the fish is fresh, thats a lie. Salmon was warm and started to have a slim film to it. For those of you who don't know what that means, it is an indication that the fish is about to go bad. We were the only ones there and service was slow. Zero greeting or hellos. Door on a 70° day was wide open. Flies where coming and going land... View all feedback.
The restaurant had a strong vinegar smell, the tuna was brown and had to be returned. The staff was very rude about it. Tuna should never be served brown, whether it's baked or not. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere all rated a 1 out of 5.
Overall, the restaurant was okay, nothing special but it gets the job done. There was nothing particularly amazing or disappointing about it. It did make me wonder if all sushi in a state without access to the ocean is just mediocre.
The bento box at this restaurant is amazing! I would rate the food a 4, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 4.
The food is decent but definitely not top tier. It feels like half the rolls are krab based, and the actual fish is nothing remarkable. It's better than gas station/supermarket sushi, but that's about it. The wasabi is a pale imitation of the real thing: thin and barely spicy. The store is extremely small and it's probably not worth dining in. Service is relatively fast but impersonal; worst of all, they just raised their prices again. So, although I like supporting local businesses, I'd recommend Aji or getting closer to Denver/Boulder to anyone looking for quality fish and great sushi. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Sushi Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
This is less of a review and more of a, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?? Yesterday I called and called, no answer, and then I drive by and your closed during your regular business hours. Today, Friday during listed business hours, again, no answer. Are you guys opening again??
