Absolutely amazing staff! On top of their game! Made a vegetarian meal and made sure there was absolutely no cross contamination! The food? Stellar!!! I have not one complaint about this place! For my first experience I'll definitely be coming back for more!!!! View all feedback.
What steve donahue doesn't like about Pita Pit:
The food is great but the service isn't the best. I ordered a specialty pita that comes with hot pepper cheese. They waited until after it was already made to tell me they were out. Instead of asking if I wanted something else they asked me which cheese I wanted to substitute. I wouldn't have ordered that. If I knew they didn't have everything needed to make what I wanted, I would have ordered something else. That is... View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, but the service leaves something to be desired. I ordered a specialty pita that was supposed to come with hot pepper cheese, but after it was made, I was informed that they were out of it. Rather than offering me an alternative dish, they simply asked which cheese I would prefer as a replacement. If I had known that certain ingredients were unavailable, I would have chosen a different item. To me, this indicates a lack of satisfactory service.
The food was truly exceptional; I have no complaints at all. I only wish they were located nearer to me, especially with winter coming!
The staff at this restaurant are truly outstanding! They were very attentive and made sure to prepare my vegetarian meal without any chance of cross-contamination. The food was excellent! I have no complaints about this place whatsoever. After such a fantastic first experience, I will definitely be coming back for more!
I stopped by Pita Pit on my way back to Pittsburgh tonight, marking my first visit to this restaurant. Carter provided us with exceptional service; it was truly top-notch, and the food was fantastic! From what I gathered, the restaurant has only been open for about six months, but with the quality of service and food they deliver, I can see it becoming a popular spot in the future. Despite arriving late on a holiday Monday, we noticed more customers coming in behind us, so it seems word is already spreading. Even after closing time, Carter was still there, greeting and serving everyone who walked in with a smile. The restaurant was clean, and everything was made fresh. I was really impressed and just wish there was a Pita Pit in Pittsburgh!
This is an excellent place for create-your-own bowls. There are numerous options available, and they offer a fantastic range of vegan choices!
