The staff are great there is plenty of choice where to sit and the Sunday Carvery is second to none for the price. Most similar places sell inferior roast meat, often tough and chewy with a lot of fat but not here it is always very nice.

Lots of bookings had already been taken but we were shown to a nicely positioned table for two. We enjoyed meals from the Specials board, chicken in white wine sauce with mushrooms, mash and tender stem broccoli. Lemon and pepper chicken triple cooked chips, salad and homemade coleslaw. To finish we enjoyed Rolo’s cheesecake with ice cream. The menu items are freshly prepared and cooked not like the pub chains who reheat or microwave their menu items. The customer service was attentive but not too rushed. The atmosphere was pleasant with nicely spaced tables. I would recommend prebooking avoid disappointment for larger groups.

The food arrived at... read more We booked for a party of 20 for my mums 90th birthday celebrations. The food and service was amazing. The staff went over and above for us. The food arrived at the same time all hot. Well done to the chef and the young guy who served us all was amazing, sorry I didn't get his name, but he was brilliant. They couldn't have made us more welcome. Thank you so much for a brilliant experience and you should be so proud of your staff xx
