I stopped by to purchase a sushi roll priced at $4. When I paid by card, I noticed that the woman who served me had charged me $4.50 instead. After pointing this out, she eventually refunded the extra amount. I would recommend checking the EFTPOS machine before tapping your card at this place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The woman at the counter charged me extra on the card without displaying the prices on the card reader. I noticed that she seemed to raise prices for other items when serving older or very young customers as well. I would highly advise against visiting this place; it feels like a scam. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 1 out of 5.
I was very disappointed with my experience. I would prefer to go to Sushi Maru, where the sushi is of much better quality. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 1 out of 5.
One of the five Japanese restaurants in Epping. Limited indoor seats available and their primary business is for take out offering small roll of sushi starting $3,50 which seemed popular. As for the seafood ramen, the broth was pretty good and overall it was an overage ramen dish. The curry chicken katzu Bento was disappointing. Rice was not fresh. The chicken katzu was so dry and tough, it took so much effort to chew. It almost felt like it was fried and microwaved repeatedly to reach the state. The curry also was very starchy and didn't look or taste fresh. This dish could use more love and care put into it. Did not feel good afterwards. I understand it is a mom and pop small business (and I always support small businesses whenever possible over franchise) but there's definitely room for improvements.
