Outstanding burger joint - taste and flavour is so good. I had the Lauris Dee burger and was impressed. Also has options for low carb (lettuce wrap)and the chicken salad was also very goodOnly downward was the soda was on tap and didn't taste as good as Diet Coke View all feedback.

Perhaps if they didn't have a sign in the window advertising their best burger in Melbourne status my expectations would have been a little more realistic. A smashed patty between a generic fast food style bun, whist being small was adequate, it's clear this place draws inspiration from shake shack and other us chains, however it lacks any real x factor to the burgers. The main criticism was super bland and dry bacon... View all feedback.

A better bun and some juicer meat, as well as some care taken to serve crispy but still melt in your mouth bacon would have taken this to a new level.
Awesome burgers! Really wanted a concrete mixer but was way too full! Will definitely visit again.....even if it is just for dessert!
Decided to try the Laurie dee burger on first impression it was tiny, kids size in fact, although beautifully presented and they aren't kidding when they say fresh ingredients, as the lettuce has some serious crunch. I gave it a 3 star purely for portion sizing but other than that it was almost 5 star quality.
I was told by a friend of mine who has been to Laurie Fees that they won n award for the best hamburgers. We went on a Sunday for lunch before a movie and probably should've gone to McDonalds instead. The burgers are over priced and they didn't have much in the way of variety. This place may have an American theme but didn't seem to have that atmosphere of a diner. If your looking for something to eat when you're out and about look for something elsewhere.
Having heard that Laurie Dees was one of the best burger houses in Melbourne I wanted to visit as I love a nice burger. BUT this place is just an up market McDonalds with real meat beef patties! The burgers look nothing like the photos and I was totally underwhelmed by the shabby no atmosphere experience of this establishment!Having waited to order while the order taker continued to wipe down some equipment with a cloth which she threw aside (not the best behaviour or cleanliness) I finally was ask for my order. I ordered a double Laurie Dee, a cheese hot dog for my wife and cheese fries & large soft drink to share. When our order arrived the burger bun was soggy underneath like it had been sitting waiting, yes there were 2 patties but they were wafer thin so thankfully I ordered the double. But I have to be fair as the burger patties were very tasty. My wife's hot dog was nice and had lots of cheese over it. But the cheese fries were a soggy mass of cold fries with way too much cheese liquid through them, it was disgusting!!!The $33 price tag for this meal was also disappointing given the lack of overall quality. All in all a very disappointing experience!!! :(
